Sewing Circle

NEW DATES FOR FALL 2026 !

In addition to promoting resale as an alternative to new clothing, we promote mending and repair of clothing as another way of reducing reliance on new things.

The Second Serve community gathers together to mend, sew, and create new items from old! Our Sewing Circle meets every couple weeks at:

Central Congregational Church, 296 Angell Street, Providence, RI 02906 (Enter on Diman Place)

All levels of skill are welcome! We work together helping each other on a variety of projects: repairing projects from home, upcycling projects, mending donations from Second Serve that need TLC, quilting, visible mending and textile art! Please bring any project you like- knitting and crafts are great too! 

This is a wonderful time for community. No RSVP needed, just show up!
