Martin Van Schaak purses are exclusive collectibles. The designer never sold his creations in a store, but knew each of his clients individually (Jackie Kennedy in the 1960s for one). He spent most of his life in NYC but retired to Houston near the end. This purse is nearly perfect, with a majestic horse's head front and center. There are three compartments in the interior: the middle one has two slot pockets, pen holder, and one zippered compartment. Excellent used vintage condition- there is a tiny lightened mark on the front of the purse, barely visible (see first picture, on the mid-lower left). There is also a centimeter of loose stitching on one strap (also in first picture).

  • Handle drop-11.5
  • Width-12.5
  • Depth-1 inch (expandable)
  • Height-8.5 at edges, 8 from the middle

Measurements are in inches and approximate. This preowned item is sold "as is" and not returnable.
